Platinum SEO does what headspace does…. Canonical URL wasnt even being written about when I wrote that SEO plugins post, and you can curb duplicate content with the Platinum SEO plugin. There’s tons of other SEO plugins out there… these are just what i consider the top 5.

Alright, I use the ones on the list, but what about Headspace and the canonical url tag plug ins? Also Redirection is quite helpful. Maybe we could expand the list to ten?

Yes, Platinum SEO Pack is really based off the AiO SEO Plugin, and supports all settings that AiO provides. It seems like AiO development has stalled from time to time. With the new features in WP 2.7 that split the comments on different pages, you will get many issues with duplicate meta titles/description. AiO can not help you with these issues, but Platinum SEO Pack can.

Hi ! thanks for that lsit, and espacially for mentioning the Self ping plugin, that I didn’t know.

I don’t really understand your point about All in One SEO not having the individual meta tags feature, because it does ! When editing your post AIO a form at the bottom where you can specify Title, Description and Keywords you want. Platinum’s power seems to be more in the noindex customization, in which AIO is rather weak.

Ok, I’ve read a million blog posts about SEO plugins and they all mentioned the “All-In-One SEO” plugin as the best.

Man were they wrong, the Platinum SEO plugin freakin rocks! I love having two titles for my posts.

@ Charles M. – Yes, DD Sitemap Generator works fine with Wordpress 2.7
