How can I start making money online today?
So a lot of people ask me how can I start making money online today and if they can really make good money online. If you are already in the industry and have already understand affiliate marketing you can just ignore this post. Otherwise keep reading and I’ll explain to the average person how can I start making money online today and give you some examples.
Answers to how can I start making money online today:
Ok so believe it or not most people think that either the internet bubble has burst and making money online is difficult or they have missed the boat. Listen, the only one stopping you from learning to make money on the internet is you! It’s not too late, you can start today… embrace your personal power and take action!
Most excuses start with I don’t know how can I start making money online today..
These are the 3 main reasons why the average person never learns how to make money online.
#1
The first question that I get from all my is who pays you and how do you get paid? Well most people think that you have to contact a company or product directly to setup a relationship where they pay you to advertise or generate sales for their product. You don’t have to talk to ANY company that sells a product directly! There are affiliate networks out there that have hundreds or even thousands of products available for you to market online and it doesn’t cost you anything to signup.
#2
The second question or excuse is usually that they don’t have a business license and have to set that up first. That isn’t true either, you can register for a EIN (federal tax identification number) or use your social security number so these affiliate networks can report your payments to the IRS. Understand that affiliate networks act as the middleman and take a percentage (30% or less) and pay you as late as NET60 or as early as every week typically depending on how many sales / conversions you’re able to generate.

Now the third question or reason for not even trying is because they have no idea who will show them exactly what to do. Believe it or not most people think that I have the time or it would be worth my time to coach them individually on exactly how to do what I’m doing to make money. What do you think? Every time I hear this I immediately think- this is why you’re not successful in the first place… you have no desire or ambition to figure out anything on your own. If you sit around waiting for someone else to explain to you exactly how to do something before you try it yourself you don’t deserve to make real money.
You can’t be afraid to ask someone how can I start making money online today? Letting your own embarrassment get in the way of your financial success you will never start making money online or it will definitely take you a lot longer.
You know it sickens me how scared people are to try something new and even more so how frightened they become when they don’t understand something. I have friends who would rather hold meetings at their homes to recruit people in to the next Amway style IBO business venture with 1/100,000th of the income potential of successful internet marketing. They’d rather spend their time promoting another companies product for peanuts rather than learning how to create a steady passive income from search engines or creating paid advertisements with a 25-100% ROI (spend $100, profit $25-$100) with half the effort in half the time. You know why? It’s because they can’t grasp the concept or they refuse to because there is too much to learn or don’t have faith in themselves.
Basic examples of how can I start making money online today and some tips
This an excellent example of an average person making money with Google Adsense. This is where companies pay Google and Google pays you to put an contextual ad on your website. She’ll give you some more details and hopefully help explain some very basic things to you.
Anyone can find the answer to how can I start making money online today if they are willing to take the time and do it! You know those who are afraid to fail won’t try, and those who don’t try can’t succeed. Stop blaming everyone else, if only my employer paid me more… if only I had a different job… and take charge of your life and your finances! You’re the only one who can learn how can I start making money online today and follow through with it!

How to tell if your website is in the sandbox
Has your site been indexed in Google in the past? This article is going to explain to you how to tell if your website is in the sandbox. This is usually something that happens to new sites and doesn’t usually affect older established sites.
Were you ranking well in the search engines for quite a few keywords but all of a sudden you’re not getting the traffic you used to? It’s possible that you’re in the sandbox and Google has put you there. It is usually due to spamming backlinks to a brand new site or a variety of other things they would consider abuse.

As an example we’ll use this blog and show you some strategies to check to see if you’re included in the search engines. Sandbox Example 1:

As you can see nichetitans.com was included in the search results. Try this but with the name of your domain without any spaces. It’s possible if your domain name includes some highly competitive keywords you’ll have to be more specific.
Sandbox Example 2:
Be more specific – “nichetitans” or nichetitans.com or “nichetitans.com”
If you don’t find these results conclusive and you still don’t know how to tell if your website is in the sandbox then you can always manually look up to page 20 for a keyword you used to receive traffic from in the past.

Do I have to update wordpress to the latest version?
A lot of people are probably wondering, do I have to update wordpress to the latest version and if I do so will it cause problems? Usually it’s a good idea to keep software updated but we all know that if we updated our iPhone to the latest software we lost our ability to install free tethering!
Now do I have to update wordpress to the latest version in order to keep my wordpress site running?
It seems like every other week WordPress has a new version out, right now it’s 2.9.2 and I haven’t even updated to the latest version yet. I should update WordPress every time an update is available but lately I haven’t been worrying about it and it’s a little bit of a hassle. My first few sites were on WordPress 2.7 or something and the interface has changed quite a bit. Sometimes you get used to an interface and changing it just requires you to learn something new or maybe even force you to use a new navigation you may not enjoy.
To stay safe do I have to update wordpress to the latest version or will I risk security flaws?
So that being said I just logged in to google webmaster tools and noticed that I was getting traffic for some keywords that I wasn’t targeting. The only reason I caught it is because it looked like spam keywords that would be used by some hacker or spammer. The keywords I noticed looked like they were in a foreign language but believe it or not they were getting traffic from Google! It appears that since I hadn’t updated WordPress to the latest version someone may have taken advantage of a security flaw and uploaded a file to my default WordPress theme folder.
Here is a screen capture of the keyword analytics from within Google’s webmaster tools -

As you can see I obviously wasn’t trying to rank for any of these keywords and I don’t even want to mention them because they are completely irrelevant to my site. So learn from my mistake and keep your WordPress updated to the latest version. It hasn’t been long but I know the answer to do I have to update wordpress to the latest version and it’s not something I’ll soon forget.
I just watched a video of the search engine quality team at Google presenting at some kind of internet marketing conference and they said if you’re site is compromised they will sandbox you (remove you from the search results) and that is sucks bad. Do you know how to tell if your website is in the sandbox and is it because of you were hacked?
Asking do I have to update wordpress to the latest version isn’t the only question you should ask
It blows my mind that a site with mostly internet niche marketing content would be competitive but I guess it makes sense because so many people search for scummy content on the internet. I know people looking for dirty pictures or videos aren’t always the best visitors to monetize but I’ve seen it done well with banner advertisements using CPM (a set dollar amount per 1,000 page views). You have to keep in mind that not all traffic is ready to buy but that doesn’t mean you can’t profit from it.
A niche I’ve thought about working on is celebrity images and videos because there are a lot of people searching for celebrity media on the internet. In the past I saw a simple celebrity media site, herdaily.com, selling on sitepoint.com for over $100,000 or something ridiculous. Since it had like 5-8 static image media advertisements, 1-3 popups and a bottom toolbar it was doing quite well with ad revenue generating about $13,000 per month. I’m not sure about you but $13,000 organic is pretty good if you ask me.
Overall, as you know you don’t have to update wordpress but it is definitely safer as I’m sure you understand by now. If you haven’t been able to get an answer you can understand for do I have to update wordpress to the latest version than please leave me a comment and I’ll try to help you.
